2014 was such an AMAZING year!

Before I started, I wanted to focus on a concept that is really important, and that I have been thinking a lot about lately. I learned from Jim Rohn that when you have an opportunity, instead of focusing on what you are going to EARN, focus on what you will BECOME as a result of the opportunity. For example, will it provide great mentorship, skills, first hand knowledge, etc.…. Focus on putting yourself in situations where you can become more in all areas of your life. This has been a really big lesson in my life that has become a shift in my mindset that I really wanted to share with you.

What happened with the business in 2014?

In 2014, we earned $686,623.000, which was a 29% increase over 2013. I was inducted into the Millionaires Club of my Network Marketing organization, which was an amazing honor. Network Marketing is the primary source of revenue for me and my wife. I won this award, and my wife and I decided to write a $5,000 check for The International Justice Mission right on the spot. This was such an amazing opportunity and feeling to be able to do this. This really helped us to focus on abundance and keep the faith that there will always be enough. My goal is to help people and help serve the world, and being able to give this donation was incredibly powerful and fulfilling for me.

The other thing we did this year was to start making tax deferred investments to a SEP and a 401K. I wanted to mention here the importance of investing your money in tax-deferred accounts. The money in these accounts can grow tax-free. We invested with Jake Jacobis at Morgan Stanley. He is someone who we trust completely, so I wanted to pass his name onto you so that you can reach out if you have more than $10,000 that you would like to invest.

In 2014, we are really trying to solidify our business into a systemized professional process. This includes behind the scenes shifts and systems, and updating the face of our business to have a more professional look and feel. The other thing we have been working on is a podcast that will be launching in early April 2015…I’m really excited about this.

What happened in my personal life in 2014?

Other crazy exciting stuff…we just bought a new house, and new cars. It ended up being a year of buying stuff! Our kids are growing up and getting older. Our girls are both in school. I am really loving being a parent and husband, it is truly amazing gift. We are so blessed to be able to do all of this. It was only four short years ago that we were bankrupt and broke, so for us, it is not about the flashy stuff; it is all about being able to live the life we want to live.

What I learned in 2014…

The power of momentum! After taking time off over 2013, it was really hard to get going again, and to get the momentum back into our work. The other thing I learned in 2014 was the importance of passion. One of the reasons that it was hard for me to get going again in 2014 was that I had lost some of the initial passion that had made me successful. The way I brought the passion back was I got strict with my workouts and eating clean. This put me in a space of feeling amazing, glowing and sharing the products. When you do the workouts, 100% you feel awesome. The final thing that I learned in 2014 is that I need to consistently focus on my thoughts, actions, spirituality and making sure I am being the best person I can be in every area of my life.

Think about yourself…what kind of focus are you bringing to 2015?

What I plan to do differently in 2015…

My plan is to bring this business to the next level so that I can help more people.

We are also putting together a team in 2015, and I’m so blessed to be working a great team. My wife is getting more involved in the business, which is amazing. Jodi is working at a higher level, moving all the projects forward, and Mary is helping with the web development. We are looking for someone to help market the business. The theme is to take our ‘mom and pop’ business to a professional organization that is set up to help more people.

To wrap up and tie this back, I am really focused this year on what I am BECOMING, not what I am RECEIVING. My goal is to become the best person that I can be in all areas of my life, and to build this business with integrity in order to help people live a life that they love to live.

Have a beautiful 2015 and I’m looking forward to connecting with you!
