A Beachbody Coach’s daily business activities can be broken down into four different main categories.
What does a Beachbody Coach Do?
- Share Beachbody products
Simply share about Beachbody fitness programs or nutritional products, or both.
- Coach people who use Beachbody products
Help someone get the BEST results when they purchase a fitness program or one of our nutritional products.
- Share the Beachbody business opportunity
Talk to other people who you think would be a great fit for becoming a Beachbody coach.
- Coach people who are actively working the business
Help other coaches who sign up through you to learn more about the Beachbody business and how to become more successful.
That is really as complicated as this business gets! We share products, coach people, share in the Beachbody business opportunity, and lastly, coach the coaches we sign up on our team for the business opportunity.
What would I do on a day-to-day basis as a Beachbody Coach?
Now let’s take a look at what you would do to work your Beachbody Coaching business.
1. Share Beachbody products
Beachbody Coaches share reputable products that WORK! This is the number one reason why you have such an advantage when you sign up as a Beachbody Coach, especially versus other network marketing businesses. Plus, Beachbody spends over 100 million dollars per year promoting their fitness and nutritional products. These are products and programs that work, and are well-known. If you have friends or family that have ever tried a Beachbody product, you already know from their experiences that these products make a real difference in people’s lives.
We are NOT in the business of trying to heckle people into buying something; we are in the business of sharing with people who are looking to improve their lives, whether through fitness or nutrition or both. The most effective way to share Beachbody products is to share your own experience and the experiences of others who have gotten results. Through casual conversations with friends, family, and people you meet – both in-person or on social media – share your own experiences with Beachbody products. And don’t worry – we will teach you how to do it in a non-invasive way. There is nothing worse than experiencing your friends or family hounding and hounding you on Facebook, and making it apparent they are not actually interested in just talking to you, and only asking you to buy something from them.
2. Coach people who purchase Beachbody products
After someone purchases a Beachbody product from you, your next phase will be to coach and support them. The number one way we do this is through private Facebook groups. Say you have a few people who have purchased P90X from you…you create a private Facebook group where they can all start the program together and at the same time. Your new team will then be able to share their successes, struggles, and questions, as they collectively work to motivate, love, and inspire each other. Also, discuss with team members what is working and what is not working for them on their journeys to improved health. Sometimes one of your team members may need a little pick me up. Pick up the phone and talk to them one-on-one to help motivate them on their journey. This is an example of the support aspect of coaching.
3. Share the Beachbody Business Opportunity
There are three different ways you can share the business opportunity. Let’s say you have someone who purchased a Beachbody program from you. This person went through the entire program, is drinking their Shakeology every day, and is having great success and feeling great. Let them know they are inspiring and motivating to others, and ask them if they have ever thought about becoming a Beachbody Coach. You will find that most of the time people will have never thought about it, but this is the perfect candidate, the perfect person we can share this business opportunity with.
The second way is to talk to someone who is looking to make a little bit of extra income, and has friends or family who would also like to be healthy and fit. They can purchase a program from you and then invite people they know to join in so they can all work together.
The third way is to talk with a person who is looking for a real business opportunity; someone with an entrepreneurial work ethic. For this type of person, we need to focus on the business opportunity first. Sure, they may have heard about P90X, Focus T25 or Shakeology, but they are solely interested in the business opportunity. The huge advantage for these people is that they are signing on with a company that is number one when it comes to health and fitness.
4. Coach others who are actively working the Beachbody business
Say we have a person who recently signed up as a Coach and they are ready to take on this business. It is now up to us to coach them on how to do that successfully. This is done in three different ways.
- Coach them one-on-one
When they first sign up, we have something called a Getting Started Right phone call. Here we talk to them one-on-one and may even set up a call once a week thereafter.
- Setup a Team Page
Within Beachbody, everyone has a Team Page. Depending on who you sign up with as a Coach (which is very important) and what team they are a member of, this will determine where you will get your training and support. Ideally, you will have a Team Page, Team Website, and possibly also a private Facebook Group.
- Establish private Facebook groups
Our team runs three private Facebook groups each month; they all run 30 days and take about 10-15 minutes of your day. This helps us support, motivate, love, and really move forward with our business, step by step.
And that pretty much wraps up a day in the life of a Beachbody Coach. We spend our days sharing about the Beachbody products, coaching those who use our products, share the Beachbody business opportunity, and coach others who are working the business.
