[00:03:08.3] KC: Welcome to the All About Beachbody Coaching Podcast. Keith here and today, I want to talk to you about why I recommend the 21 Day Fix or any other — when I’m recording this, it’s only the 21 Day Fix but, if we do come out with any other 21 day programs, I recommend you getting that challenge pack when you sign up as a coach over anything else and let me explain why.
So Beachbody coaching started with P90X and Chalene Extreme and there were longer programs. So the reason that Beachbody coaching started, originally there was just the infomercials and what they found is that if somebody bought P90X, it was literary less than 10% of the people would complete the program. And I want to make a quick disclaimer, the numbers I’m going to give you are estimates. They’re definitely not exact numbers but the story and the understanding will make total sense in the end.
Originally, people would buy a P90X. P90X is a 90 day program and 10% of the people would complete it because it was hard. Not only was it hard, it was 90 days plus long workouts. You had an hour to an hour and a half workouts, you have a 90 day program and it was just long. It was hard for people to stick to it. It was hard for people to do the entire thing. So you’ve got that going on, right? Then what happened was Beachbody coaching started and the reason that it started was to bring people together to support each other in their journey, to support each other in their health and fitness and wellness journey, to support each other through a program like P90X.
And then we started getting results like 15, 20% of the people who were completing the program from start to finish. Then there were two things that Beachbody did that revolutionized this whole entire thing. They did shorter workouts and the program that I love they did a 21 day program, The 21 Day Fix. This literary jumped from a 20% completion rate to over 90% of the people were completing the program because it was only a half hour a day and because it was only 21 days long.
So there were some people that would do P90X and you would do it for 50, 60, 70 days but if you didn’t complete the 90 days, what happens psychologically, you think you failed, right? So the reason I love The 21 Day Fix is A, it gives people results. They get results in those 21 days. When they get results, it helps them to fall in love with the company, it helps them to fall in love with the products and it gives them confidence that they can do the next program, that they can do something else even a longer program. Or maybe just do the 21 day fix again or again, if we any other 21 day programs out right now.
So I really, really recommend the 21 day fix for that reason just because you’re going to get people success right away. You’re going to get them to fall in love with the company right away. You’re going to get them to feel good about themselves right away. What does that do for your business? Now, if we want to look at it from a business standpoint, that’s kind of the things that I am always looking at like what are the different things? If I do that program, I learn about it and now I start taking other people through it.
A, instead of a 20% completion rate, I now have 90% of the people that are completing it. B, I probably had more people buy it because more people are apt to do a 21 day program than a 90 day program. So let’s flip those around. So I got more people to buy it. Out of the more people that bought it, I got more people to complete it and instead of a 90 day period, it was only a 21 day period. So I have a lot more people feeling good, a lot more people having success within a lot shorter period of time.
And then the traditional Beachbody model is that we’re going to have people. They go through a program and then eventually some of those people who have a good experience with the program are going to become coaches and if you’re looking to build a big business with Beachbody, the number one thing you want to do is you want to be bringing in coaches and teaching them how to get their business started. So that whole customer to coach lifecycle in this scenario that I’m explaining, first of all, you’re getting a lot more successful customers and then if they do want to become a coach, it’s after 21 days not after 90 days.
When Beachbody started doing that, that’s when the company in the network, in the network marketing arm of it, really started taking off because it really sped up. It really comes down to this one simple thing: you can get a lot more people feeling good, losing weight, achieving their goals in a shorter period of time. So that is why I recommend The 21 Day Fix and it’s an awesome program. It really is. It’s a good all-around program, it’s good for all levels.
You can be a top athlete or you can be someone who’s never worked out. There’s modifications in there and there’s something for everyone but yeah, I highly recommend that one. You can chose any of the other ones, you’re not going to go wrong with any of them but from a strictly business and strategic standpoint of how you can help the most amount of people, which that’s how we get paid. The more people we help, the more money we make, right?
