EP80 Mindset Monday – The Sandwich story
In today’s episode of Mindset Monday I talk about the importance of good beginnings and good endings in all that you do.
[00:00:12] KC: Welcome to The Business of Life Podcast. My name is Keith Callahan, your host and in today’s episode of Mindset Monday, we’re talking about the Sandwich Story. So whenever you’re looking to do something in your life, I was taught that you want to focus on good beginnings and good endings. And this can go, like let’s just give a real quick example for it. Like say I’m starting a workout program, I can focus on good beginnings and good endings.
Like say I’m doing a 60 day regiment, right? So I wanna really focus on getting started with it right, and that would mean like having everything mapped out clearly. It would mean having my nutrition mapped out, it would be having my workouts mapped out, and then also like probably on a 60 day program, the good beginning would be the first week worth of the entire thing. And then the ending, the good ending would be the same thing, like finishing strong, finishing consistent, finishing with clean eating, finishing with the workouts.
So that’s our sandwich, that’s our good beginnings and good endings and if we focus on good beginnings and good endings, the rest of it takes care of itself. So whatever you’re doing in life, and it could just be a workout, right? Like say you’re going, you know, using workouts is a real simple thing. Starting that workout good with your really focusing in on your stretching, getting your mindset correct, getting your breathing correct, then going through with your workout, and then focusing in really strict on that ending, making sure you’re doing the cool down properly, making sure you’re ending with gratitude, making sure you’re coming back down to grounding yourself in after your workout.
If we focus on good beginnings and good endings, the rest of it takes care of itself. Today’s Monday. If you’re listening to this, this is Mindset Monday.
